Anne Cassidy writes whenever she has the
chance: in a rocking chair on the deck, curled up on the couch,
on her way to work (luckily, she takes public transportation).
Anne has been writing magazine articles for 25 years. Her essays
have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington
Post, the Christian Science Monitor and many other
publications. A generalist by choice, she has written magazine
articles on everything from walking her kids to school to what
you can catch in public restrooms (not that much, as it turns
out). She’s been published in Woman’s Day, Family
Circle, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Parents,
Working Mother, McCall’s (where she was an editor
for four years) and many more magazines. She’s written two
books, and has appeared on the “Today Show” to discuss one of
them — Parents Who Think Too Much (Dell). Anne is
an instructor at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and
the editor of Georgetown Law, the alumni magazine of
Georgetown University Law Center.
